JC Smith is proud to offer to our clients a dedicated member of our Production Team that is solely responsible for Service/Warranty calls and Quality Inspection reports.
We’ve worked with over 250 clients a year since we incorporated. I mean to tell you that we have been on a lot of homes and commercial properties performing construction improvements or building new construction since we started our business. With each client that has had work performed by JC Smith we offer a 1 year warranty, but more reasonably we consider all warranty service calls beyond 1 year and mostly service those calls as well. We have a dedicated member of our Production Team that only works to button up any warranty service concerns for our clients, but, I’ll be honest, we run out of service calls to keep him busy! So we have reorganized our Quality Inspection reporting to also be on his tasks. This employee is recognized as an impartial witness to the conditions of the project.
Quality Inspection reports occur on projects that are in Production or being constructed. We have a digital form that is accessible and fillable on our smart phone anywhere – without WIFI or cell service in some cases. The form includes information to go back to JC Smith Management including who is present and working on site, compliance, safety, cleanliness, weather, material staging, and, of course, craftsmanship. Relevant project pictures are attached along with the report. These inspections are performed multiple times on larger scaled projects like our Custom Homes, Additions, and larger renovation projects.
